Freaky

Have you ever driven by a house that, to say it nicely,  needs a little love?  We've driven by this house a time or two and we call it the haunted house.  We drove by the other night on our way home from a park and Aaron stopped the car and dared the kids to go stand on the front porch with him.  Emma and Lindsey ran up there, but Christian was too chicken.  After just a minute they came running back to the car screaming.  The curtains in a broken window upstairs were blowing in the breeze creating a ghostlike appearance and Emma thought she had heard something moving inside.  Freaky!!!!!!!
I don't know about your kids, but mine think it is so fun to be scared, especially Christian. He likes the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland, likes to check out scary books, and likes to pretend he's a monster and scare his friends. He acts so tough, but at night has to sleep with his closet closed, door wide open, and hall light on.
One night this summer we had fun listening to scary stories on the trampoline. They were on a CD we found at the library.  Most of the stories were only lightly scary and some were actually funny.   We've also checked out some books that are a collection of scary stories for kids. These books are pretty good. If your kids (ages 5-10)  think it's fun to be scared, check them out:

Happy Haunting!!!   Wa-ha-ha-ha

When I saw that house I didn't think scary - I thought what a pretty house! Ha, ha....

Yeah, it could be a cool house if someone gave it some love! It does look pretty freaky in person though-a perfect haunted house.
