Ready or not summer is here. Here's some pictures to share.
I guess we have a cat now. His name is Thurston (sp?) and he used to be my father-in-law's cat, sort of. My father-in-law has been asking us to take this cat home for over a year now, but we kept turning him down even though we promised Lindsey we could have a cat when we moved to the valley. Finally when his life was on the line ( the neighbors were going to take him to the pound) we gave in a brought him home. So far so good. The kids take care of him and play with him. It's easier than I thought.
Last week we had a picnic lunch at the park and a tour of the David O. McKay house with our neighbors. It was such a beautiful day. This is a shout out to my Perry friends- come tour the house and play up here in Huntsville with us. Ok!
Brooke wasn't in that great of a mood so she and I played outside while the other kids took the tour. The lawn next to the house is big and beautiful and so fun to be in.
All throughout Huntsville town there are alleyways behind the houses that go all the way through the block. We took the back alleyway to get to the park. It was more adventurous.
Last weekend Emma and Lindsey served at a wedding in our neighborhood. Lindsey ended up "catching" the bouquet.

We're off to play some baseball- pictures soon to come.
